Off the Grid
Summer is quickly coming to an end and school is approaching. Although, I have at least one more adventure planned. My parents and I are driving up to Wyoming to go see my brother, Jake. The drive makes me super nervous. I have a tendency to get sick on mountain roads. We don’t talk about last summer’s trip to see Jake. We are going to stay in Laramie and do all there is to do there at first. After that, Jake is planning to take us camping in The Snowies. Yeah, camping. Like in a tent. If you know my brother, this is right up his alley. This is a classic weekend activity for him. Now if you know me, I’m not Jake. Although I hate to say it, I am a little more high-maintenance than my brother. Don’t get me wrong, I know I’ll have fun. I’m just saying I might not make it out alive. I might not be the greatest outdoorsman there is but I am able to have a good time in most situations. I mainly am just not looking forward to Jake telling us that we’re doing everything wrong. I know I sound dramatic. This is just not my type of thing. Someday, I’ll make my family come visit me and make them do something out of their comfort zones. Don’t worry, I’m going to have a good time. This is just my farewell if I get eaten by a bear. Wish me luck.
